SHORT PAYMENT DUE TO INCORRECT ASSESSOR'S REPORT
A recent burglary claim was short paid by Hollard due to the assessor reporting incorrectly that some of the items were for display purposes (despite communication clearly indicating the contrary) and after pointing out the obvious discrepancy Hollard still refuses to pay the difference stating that we have signed the agreement of loss. The said agreement was presented without any backup documentation showing what were we getting paid for and therefore was an unfair insurance practice.
