Complaint / review / scam report
I was told this morning by a representative of ABSA that they can change the wording (read reduce the cover) of a policy any time they like, and that my mind-set must change to accept that. If I want to go somewhere else, I have to get their permisison on top of it. Twice I have claimed against them, and twice they used their standard answer "rejected'. On both occasions I went to the Ombudsman and they were forced to pay. They hope that you will go away. They are only in business to make a profit, and the customer as much as they can. They hope that customers will not take the trouble to go to the Ombudsman. For three weeks I had a large open trench with raw sewage in my back yard whilst I waited for the Ombudsman because of them, and they expect me to trust them and change my mind-set. They have to be joking.
