Unhappy to discover after 10 years that my policy

Channel life cant find policy i have been paying for more then 10 years.what happened my debit oder did not go off twice it wasnt the first time i tried to call to reinstate it i was told my policy does not exist.how is it possible that you pay for something for years and even draw part of amount inbetween the investment period and now after 10 years you are told that the the policy that not exist which does not make sense so what happened to my money all this years.the debit order was from my absa acc which is 9254942845 the policy was opened days after my son was born he is now turining 11 years and i have nothing to show for that please help iam not happy very disspointed in channel life
