I clearly and unambiguously asked for the policy to be effected as of 1 December 2013.
This means that my first premium is due on the 26th of November 2013 and not the 26th of October 2013.
As a result of the consultant's actions, a debit order went off on the 26th of October 2013.
I further sent the consultant an email to this regard, asking him to rectify this situation and reverse the debit order.
After his failure to do so, I got the bank to reverse this transaction on my behalf.
My credit record is now negatively affected as a result of the consultant's actions.
I request that this matter be attended to with urgency and the proper corrective actions be taken.
