I took insurance with AFI on the 10th September 2013, subsequent to that i was also going to change the other 2 vehicles and household contents insurance to AFI commencing on the 01st October 2013. In September and October i was billed an amount of - 10k which was refunded after numerous calls were made to AFI. The premium that was quoted was R2976. in november the same thing hapenned an i was billed an amount of around 9k and even then AFI had to email the bank requesting a debit order reversal as i would only receive my money after 21 days. I was reassured after this incident that the insurance would take the proper and correct premium without overcharging me. In december again an amount of 12k was debited and i called AFI in which Ouma promised to respond and never did such that i ended up having to request the bank not to honour that debit order. I have been making numerous calls to AFI and now i have been told they can waiver the last premium on condition that they start the cover from scratch and i must take all cars for assessment which is another great inconvenience. I havent had joy since this cover started and want AFI to fix this matter without me being inconvenienced.
