Non delivery of customer requests

A year ago our church (Grace Bible Church) requested ABSA to make me (PJ Smith) a signatory to the account and to remove previous signatories. As can be imagined it involved a lot of paperwork- a rezolution from the church, ID documents, FICA etc. After 2 visits to a Mr Dumisani all appeared settled. Now a year later, after trying unsucessfully to change a debit order, it transpires that our request was never carried out, i.e. the old signatories still remain.
Since then I have been running around to get the matter resolved. I have spoken probably 10 times to the secretary at ABSA small business at the Newtonpark branch, I have left numerous messages for the manager there, a Mrs Ali, to phone me. Last Friday, after it became clear Mrs Ali was not going to phone me, the secretary got a Ms January (?) to phone me. It turns out none of the documentation is available at the bank, and she actually thinks Mr Dumisani might still have the files with him and took it with to his new branch in Grahamstown where he was transferred recently!!!
Tomorrow it will be 7 days without a solving of this problem in sight. Anyone with any advice/contacts I can try? PJ Smith Tel 082453195
