I joined Tax Relax in March 2011. I was told that my initial mandatory period would be for 6 months, and after that I could cancel by giving 30 days notice. I only ever heard from the stupid people once a year, when they requested my tax documents. Then nothing for another year. I recently discovered my debit order went from R220pm, to R317pm. I have since tried to cancel my subscription with them and have now been told that my contract is for 12 months!!??!! And my debit order will run until March!! Nowhere in the agreement does it state any amount for the annual increase, it seems they can charge what they want. I have since asked for the owners details, but have been refused to be given them. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! They are liars!
