I "won" a Tax Relax service for R1 on 5FM. When contacted by Tax Relax I agreed for them to do the last 3 years because I hadn't submitted any returns to SARS. I made specific arrangements that the first payment I would pay manually, with the debit orders to be deducted off my account on the 25th day of the month. Bernice (from their accounts department) did not adhere to one single instruction and went ahead and put a debit order in place on a different day and effective immediately. The 1st debit order was returned unpaid (insufficient funds-which is why I said I would do the manual payment). I phoned Bernice and during a very heated telephone conversation, said that the contract was now voided because they had not adhered to my instructions.
For the last three years I've received emails from them asking me to update my contact details. Each year I've emailed them and told them to take me off their mailing list as I am not a Tax Relax customer. I was only advised this year that they've deducted nearly R15, 000 from me during the last 4 years and all my emails asking for a refund are now una
