Seems like a farce this Debt consolidation offers from banks. The point is to consolidate ya debt so the monthly payment is more affordable. How can you do that if the banks just pull ya credit record and say you are over-extended DUH!!! thats why we want the consolidation loan. Tried getting a bond on my debt free paid cash for house to consolidate my debt (current debt payments R6200pm... R350k bond payment maybe only R3500pm) huge saving BUT banks say NO??? Nedbank after 22 years I am looking now for a new bank cos you did nothing to help me... BYE!!!
