A&G automatically increased my premium with 21.95% a month ago. I raised a complaint and it was immediately brought down to R1, 831.40, from R2, 154.59 - all confirmed via email on 15 October 2013. This morning I was notified by the bank that R2, 154.59 was deducted via debit order by A&G - this was not approved or authorised by me. I tried to report the matter to their website listed ethics and department, the email doesn't work, tried to submit it to their complaints email address, the email doesn't work! Then went onto website, submitted a complaint on the website and informed that it has been received and the reference number is - BLANK, NOTHING? Can this really be a professional and competent business? How can I with any certainty trust them to insure the possession of our family, they can simply not be trusted. Worst ever experience with any insurance company out there!!! Once I received my money back, I will change insurers, even if I have to pay more! But a business like this and this level of "sophisticated customer complaints system" (it downright!) doesn't deserve the business of honest and ethical customers!!!
