I had lodged a claim which was approved 1st week in Sept 2013 with Compendium and was told I would be contacted within the week to sort the car out.
I waited and nothing happened. I e-mailed the consultant still nothing. Even advising them that i needed to sell my car so I needed it fixed. I lost 2 potential buyers in the process. I finally got a response (28th Oct 2013) after calling and was told my claim should have been sorted in Sept 2013. I then had to give the car in immediately and was stuck without transport.
Compendium increased my premiums as soon as the claim was put through but nothing was done to fix my car. I believe this was wrong. They have cost me a lot of money and if I am to even think of taking out insurance with them for my new car then the least they can do is refund me the excess of R2000.
