I am an Absa private banking customer, I still don't understand the purpose of private banking? Every time I apply for an facility or have a request I either have to go the branch to complete the paperwork, or have to complete the same details over and over and send it back to the branch. ABSA has access to all my accounts and know the status, why pay a premium for private banking if I still have to sign complete or go to the bank every time I need something done?
How difficult can it be to get an overdraft? I mean you have to qualify for private banking and then repeat the process every time you need a facility??
