INCAPACITY TO CHANGE PERSONAL DETAILS

I have phoned this company 5 times today to rectify my initials. On my statement it shows that my initials are AA and it is only A. they tell me that they cannot change it. This is absurd. My bank tells me that I am trying to force a document onto them because the statement shows two initials whereas my ID document shows I have one first name. This is very embarrassing.
