I decided to try out ABSA after the inefficient service I en-counted with FNB. I was being offered all sorts of offers by consultants at ABSA which I declined, because I wanted to experience their service prior to committing myself, resources and my time. To my disappointment, I have to go to the branch for almost everything e.g. increasing withdrawal amount and when I forget my password I cant reset it on line or talk to a consultant to reset for me on the phone. This kind of banking does not suit me all. I don't want to spend most of my time going to the branch for mere services like that I should be made available on line, it is the 20 first century after all.
