From 14 Sep I have been trying to get original statements. I phone call centre, they say I must speak to branch. I speak with branch, they say I must phone call centre. etc, etc. I live in Europe and phone calls are pricey! I spoke with Ike at Lynnridge branch, he tells me the branch can only print statements from 3mths ago. Utter rubbish and from the manager! My mom (who has full power of attorney) went into branch on 18 Sep only to be told they cannot help as the power of attorney does not stipulate signing powers. Since when do you SIGN to get statements? We finally speak to someone at Centurion branch who says I must write a letter, sign and email to them. My mom went into Centurion branch on Saturday with the specific dates that I need the statements for. One batch does not give the year, only the day and month - useless. Another batch is missing 1 month, and the 3rd batch is missing 4 months! So now I have some (not all!!) statements and Nedbank charges me R231 to print these! I don't have originals on file as I have opted to get e-statements. Nedbank saves on printing, envelopes, post, etc. but wants even more money when I need some printed! I am utterly disgusted in them!
