In May 2013 I was retrenched. I called the call centre and spoke to lady I told her I was retrenched and what can I do as I don't have job and I can't pay full installment she said I must make budget and send a letter with my retrenchment letter to securedrestructuring @ absa and I can make payment of R700 which I did. The I received calls from Gregory sookoo I informed him same I don't have job yet, he was so understanding and I made payment f R2500 in July then he dissapeared then a new guy called and the arrangements I had with greg was not correct and he was straight if I don't pay they will collect my car I was in shock I explainewd everything he just didn't care he only want payment that's all. I begged asked nice no luck. This morning I got sms I failed to pay (guess what reason I still don't have a job) I called spoke to lady chatelle she said I have to pay R1650 on friday and installment by 1 Nov (I asked her please I go to sign for UIF money on 29 oct if she can make a note that I will then pay (her words she can't cause then it will show 2 payments in arrearsand if I don't pay then my vehicle will be collected. Its not that I don't pay I am trying my best but my best.
