I have once again received a SMS saying that an amount was due on my account on the 21st. No card number on the SMS. I call, as I am now livid. I have received these before and complained because I have two credit cards. Firstly I am told that I am not late, I have until the 25th to pay. huh? Your sms says "was due". Why no card no (just last four digits) would suffice. This happened earlier this year. Result - I am now blacklisted by Nedbank for nonpayment. If u had given me just one courtesy call (just one would have been good), we would've discovered that I paid the other credit card not once, but 3 (three) times. No bother just blacklist your client. I have been a Nedbank client all my life (I am now 52), with homeloans and all. Result, my bond application for new home is not awarded. Fortunately SA Homeloans was willing to give me one. I know Nedbank doesn't particularly care about me as I am just a number, but I hope some other people will learn from my mistake.
