Good day

On the 21st I had to go see a doctor as I was in such pain I was desperate... I have nominated this doctor a month ago, I emailed info to ask for update still no response, I contacted essential med and was told a follow up will be done with 1doctor still no feedback..wether he was approved or not... I had to pay the doctor R250 for consultation.
The doctor referred me to union hospital for an ultrasound to check If there is any blood clots in my leg... I was told I had to pay cash again because essential med will not pay... I had to pay R1340... lucky for me my husband had that kind of cash in his account.

So please tell me if I can claim this money back from essential med and that it will be hassle free.

I know this is not a medical aid, but really it's too inconvenient..
I am really considering the closure of this policy as it is really inconvenient and time consuming and u never receive feedback from anyone..
