I surrendered a policy on Tuesday, 2013-10-15, at Metropolitan Life Maponya branch. I was promised that the payment will be made within 72 hours.
After realizing that the payment was not effected on Friday, 2013-05-18, I phoned the Metropolitan Life phone number, 021 940 5911. I was informed that the payment will be made on Monday 2013-10-21.
On Monday there was still no payment, and when I phoned the same number again, I was informed that there is nothing reflecting on their system, I should go back to the branch.
At the branch I was told the payment was supposed to be made today, 2013-10-21.
This is a completely appalling service, as after 96 hours I am still awaiting the payment into my bank account.
Can I have the payment made into my bank account as it is overdue.
