On the 23rd of May I paid off my personal loan account with a settlement amount of R12 254.63 and then afterwards I called the loans department again to ensure that they have received the funds and that the account is closed which they confirmed. On the 14th of October (almost 6 months afterwards) I received an sms from Norton Attorneys that ABSA have handed over my account. When I went into the bank they said that I still owe an amount of R306.49 which i paid and all the supporting documents was sent through to all the relevant stake holders. On the 16th AGAIN i received an sms from the Attorneys that they have sent n document through the post and I must contact them urgently. This is truly unacceptable as I have paid up this account but still ABSA and their Attorneys are harassing me.
