Terrible service

As i was doing a cash deposit at the ATM on the 8th of August and the machine froze. i went into the bank and looged a complaint.
i did not follow up on the complaint as I was not in Newcastle.
On the 15th of October i went into the branch and was told that the complaint has to be logged again as there was no follow up done. What a disgrace for an institution.
She asked me the amount and I told her plus minus. The lady also told me that we must learn to count our money properly before making a cash deposit. No sign on ATM saying count your money.
Now what infuriates me is that at the end of the day when the atm is balanced what happens to the extra money that is found. I wonder if standard bank will refund this money with interest.
Also our business banker resigns and no one contacts us. How pathetic. You will be losing a customer.
