I made an internet transfer to an account, which I learned was recently closed,
i then called Standard Bank to get this reversed as I need to make the payment to the correct account .- it was a Standard Bank transfer.
the response is there is a 3 day waiting period or they can trace it for me for R253 - this takes 10 days - how does this make sense? The money hasnt been paid as the account is invalid?
the transfer was to a friend of mine who closed his account to move to FNB - I can see why.
I have 2 Home loans, cheque account, savings account with Standard Bank, i think this is the ;last straw with regards to poor service from Standard Bank - loyalty counts for nothing
