Transfers take days

To whom it may concern.

I did a transfer from my FNB account to my Standard bank account on the morning of the 06/09/2013, as there was a payment coming off on the 07/09/2013. The transfer only reflected on the 09/09/2013. They reversed the payment which I'm sure they charged for the payment & an unpaid amount.

Why does it now take so long for Standard bank to accept a payment. EFT never took this long in the past. How can we manage our account if Standard bank can't deliver a service.
