On 7/10/2013 I called the FNB call centre to get assistance on linking my FNB bank acc with my paypal acc, however this could not be done as I used a passport number to open the account. I was advised to go into a branch for them to update the system &put a temporary resident number, the following events took place afterwards:
8/10/2013: after going to the branch & being assured that the problem was fixed I tried to link the acc but it was still giving the same error. So I called the call centre for assistance again & they told me that the person at the branch hadn't updated the temp number and I should send the call centre agent a certified copy of my passport and they will update on their side. so I sent the copy.
9/10/2013: the error is still there, & I call in & they tell me that the call centre manager hadn't looked at my issue yet and I should wait. later that day they sent a request for my study permit. I sent the copy.
10/10/2013: the error is still there, the manager tried to update the system with the temp #, the system rejects the number and they escalate the issue.
11/10/2013: Issue still not resolved.
14/10/2013: no resolution, awaiting c
