FNB have recently updated their systems online and with the update there has been a block for withdrawals for Sole Proprietors from the PayPal to the FNB accounts for weeks! The error sits on FNB's technical side.
This incompetence has caused me (and anyone else with a sole proprietor account linked to PayPal) to have NO access to the generous funds that sit on the PayPal account for my business. This "error" has not only crippled me financially and forced my small business to screech to a halt for lack of funding to pay suppliers, but it's cost me thousands of rands worth of time wasted at the FNB Gardens branch where there appears to be only one person in the entire branch who has received training. Not to mention at least R400 in phone calls to the PayPal assistance centre and the cost of the business I have had to
Three out of four employees roll their eyes at any task requested of them (the job they're supposedly being
paid for). Four being the total number of employees available on pay day Friday.
The Gardens branch at FNB is clearly cutting costs with regards to capable, trained employees. I have only ever experienced complete frustration with their incompetence
