Standard Bank did not authorize my windscreen

Standard Bank did not authorize my windscreen repair, I was advised by standard bank that my claim was late therefore they would not authorize the replacement of my windscreen.
The windscreen shattered in 10th of September 2013 and I was not around and therefore only reported the shattered windscreen in the first week of October 2013, therefore std bank refuses to pay this claim.

I advised the consultant that I was away and didn't have access to report the incident early, but was advised that std bank would still not replace my windscreen.

I am in the process of cancelling my insurance with std bank
