29 minutes to figure out system is off line!

I called Nedbank Call center today at 17:02 and spoke to Florence to amend a stop order. I was kept on hold for 29 minutes just to be told that all systems are off line. Although I do appreciate that IT systems can go down, it is totally unacceptable to treat a client as if he is a dumb baboon and keep him on hold for such a period of time.
If systems are offline, this should be communicated IMMEDIATELY to the client and an offer made to call the client back as soon as the system is online again.
Good PR isn't rocket science!
