I was a British Airways member until the UCount Programme was launched. I deregistered from the BA programme and managed to sign on to the UCount Rewards successfully. I was charged monthly a fee of R20 from Ucount on my statement. However, when I log on to my UCount Profile I am not credited with a single point and my account shows a 0 Balance. I emailed the call centre and got in touch with Jayrad Visagie who insists I need a BA deactivation reference number which I no longer have since I seen my account debited with the R20. He still insisted I contact the BA Department to obtain the reference number of which I tried, only to get the run around amongst the departments and to my dissatisfaction of anything. Now I am one angry customer coz I dont have the ref no so my account can not be credited and there is poor internal communication to resolve the matter. As a customer I pay R20 to receive service so I do not feel it is incumbent upon me to do the work of Standard Bank. I demand resolution to this problem and my account fixed accordingly.
