I have had a bond with this bank for quite a few years now. It was registered with an Access Bond facility which was unfortunately cancelled after we did not use it for some time. Now a few years later we applied for it to be re-instated but after completing and submitting the required forms, I waited weeks before I again phoned. I was then contacted by someone from a PTA branch to say an assessor was appointed who would contact me the same day still to make arrangements to meet me at the vacant stand for assessment. I again waited for a week before I again hax to call the lady who then told me that because it is a vacant stand the assessment was done in the office... no apology or anything!!! Then she Dvises me to call the 0800 nber for homeloans for a progress report on the assessment which I promptly did. They then advised me that ztandard bank have changed policy and no longer give access bonds on vacant stands... sorry that is just how it is she says!!! I asked about how I then accesz MY money lying in the account to which she replies I must apply for building loan!!! My complaint continues but not enough characters here to finish...
