Standard Bank
Forced insurance and refusing to fix house damaged

Took a bond with them in 2008, on vacant land, though house was already built but not complete, was already living in it. In 2012 wanted a further bond, they refused said prop was a vacant LAND. adv there was a building. They sent a valuator and was valued at R1.4 million, still refused to give me loan.
Then the house was insured for R3.7 mil I told them I do not want the insurance becoz their interest are covered on the vacant land. Bond was for R260000 value of land at the time was R500000. When I applied for the 2nd bond was owing R150000 and wanted R200000 which would have brought my bond to R350000.

I applied in May 2012 insurance was enforced from Mar 2012. In Oct 2012 a heavy storm hit my house and lightening struck part of the roof wall. I fixed my house bcoz I had forgotten that I had an insurance since I did not want it in the first place. In Mar 2013 I adv the bank about the storm and also that I had fixed the house, but it was still licking,

They never responded until I reported them to the Ombudsman, then they sent a contractor to check. After that they rejected saying prop was neglected, tho it was redone in Oct 2012
I want them to cancel ins nd refund me my premiu
