Decide to leave Nedbank after 8 Yrs

I banked with Nedbank for over 8 years. On two occasions this year they have declined my Home Loan Applications due to incorrect ITC data, this has been proven to them by emails from parties who wrongfully listed me admitting the ITC data is incorrect. also by my XDS Credit report.

On the 2nd application the figures i sent to them with proofs were lowered by R16000, my current rent pay ignored, resulting in not affording the loan of R9500/month, i asked them over and over to use the correct figures, I escalated to the Banking Ombudsman who stated that they "are satisfied with the bank's affordability calculations". This was the most heart breaking finding for me.

My current ITC score is looking good as in the past 18 months ALL my creditors were paid on time.

It is really sad to work so hard to honor your financial commitment and frankly answer all the grey areas candidly and still be told NO, you CANNOT be trusted.

If a bank does not support a loyal customer's basic need like a home, then its time to go bank elsewhere.

I have decided not to pursue this matter further and go bank elsewhere, start fresh
