A little acknowledgement would've gone a long way

I called the bank on Monday, wishing to enquire about a home loan and I was advised that since I was on private banking I needed to speak to my private banker whom has never in the time I have been a platinum customer has taken the pains to contact me via sms/telephone or any other manner to let me know that she has been allocated my account. On the same day, Monday 30 September I then phoned my branch at Mall@Reds to speak to Adri Oberholzer and I was told she was busy and she would return my call. A few hours later she had not called so I asked my mother to go there and see if she could secure an appointment for me and she was told that I was had been told that Adri would call me after she had finished whatever she was busy with. Four days later, I have not heard anything from my private banker and in the meantime I have secured a home loan from another bank that does not know me from a bar of soap because, the bank I have been loyal to for so many years has failed to give me a courtesy call and commit to a date and time when i will be attended to. Must I wait indefinitely??
