October 2012 i changed my Cheque account to value Bundle cheque acc where charges are 109 monthlyand limitless internet transaction. i received a call from Absa i November 2012 and they confirmed they will only deduct 109 from my account monthly. End november i noticed that and amount of more than 400 was deducted from my acc, this carried on until i decided to go and close my acc with Absa in May 2013.
The Branch manager wanted reason why i was closing the account, and i told if of the ridiculous charges, he then confirmed that it was a mistake from their side, and he took my details and promised to quiry the matter and revert back to me asap. i then closed the acc and i went there a week later and he sent an email to amother branch manager in town about this isue.
i have not heard from absa since May, i would like them to calculate all the overcharged amounts and repay me immediately
