3rd Party Claim process and customer service

In Nov 2012 my neighbour bumped into my car and I claimed a 3rd party insurance claim against her insurer, ie Standard Bank,
Arangies Inc Attorneys deals with these 3rd party claims.

1. It took until 07 Jan 2013 to get a claim number that I can claim against. So by then I had already used my own money and a panel beater that worked on my car before to repair the damage. Did obtain 2 other quotes - which was much more expensive
2. I had to complete several forms - which I did complete and submitted within 2 days
3. It took 9 months and several followup emails to get a resolution. Several times my emails were not responded to, and when I called the person (s) was abrupt and rude
4. At long last they offered a settlement on 26 Sept 2013 - which was R1000 less than my repair costs, and it was only valid for 3 days.By now I was so tired of fighting and so I accepted.
5. Then on my enquiry on when the payment will be done, they had the audacity to say 14-21 working days. As this is the Insurer's policy. Unbelievable. And of course they not even considering paying interest. But if you owe them they will charge interest.

This is really ridiculous and scandalous.
