I opened an account with Investec a few months ago and was very impressed with thier level of service etc (Well service i recieved from the lady i dealt with) and when my mother had an investment fall due i recommended she invest the funds with Investec...
Well what a bad idea that was...
Firstly the lady i emailed (My Contact had moved department) took 4 days to respond to me and then when she did she asked my mother to send through required paperwork ID etc which she duly did... when we hadnt heard back from this individual 7 days later i sent a follow up email only to be told Sorry i was on leave and forgot to put my out of office on... she then informed us that she needed the driver to collect the ID and Proof of residence etc which took another 4 days... once again 2 1/2 weeks later we heard nothing so called her only to be told she is on maternity leave for 4 months!!!
I was then promised by Darryl that her replacement would call me later that day and that is 5 days ago!!!
