I contacted MCS, responding to their message which reads as follow, "your overdue Barnetts account THOHOYANDOU with a balance of 8740.20 has been handed over to MCS for collection. Ref 6074079. Contact MCS for an 18% settlement discount." I did call them, only to find out that my account is no longer in their hands. They told me to call flemix and associates. I tried to call them telephonically but i was unable to get hold of any consultant. I decided to use and email address which I got it on the internet, fortunate enaf Sunnel Carnie sent me a statement, but without any banking details. I sent them another email requesting for settlement discount and banking details because I want to pay my account asap. Jannie Botha responded, this is what he/she said via email "kindly note that there will be a tracer allocated to meet with you to make payment arrangements". Why am I supposed to meet the tracer to make payment arrangements, whereas other collectors which I have already paid up their accounts never done arrangements through tracers. They did that telephonically. Please give me settlement discount and banking details I want to settle my account and clear my name from credit berue
