Standed after faulty ATM swallows card

Every night i order food and then drive to collect it.

Tonight i ordered and drove to go fill the fuel tank. At the atm, my card was swallowed. I was then stranded without money for fuel, and no money to pay for my order of food.

As standard bank are obviously lazy to replace old faulty machines (as this one has been reported faulty many times with no joy apparently) they should seriously consider an emergency solution for people in this predicament like a once off card number and pin accessable from Standard bank over the phone once you have verified who you are- Just to get off the street! Imagine a woman alone in the middle of no-where!?

Now i am inconvenienced even further when i have been 'advised' to "go to the bank" to get any access to my money. Cant standard bank afford to send me one? They just upped the charges i have to pay for them to invest my money..they should send the card to me.
