I have 2 credit cards with Standard Bank, one with Blue bean and the other a normal credit card with them. my bag got over the weekend and called lost cards to report them. now the one card is fully paid up and the other is still outstanding. I call in today to request a cancellation of the blue bean card as it is paid up and the consultant says to me she cant close it because of an outstanding balance caused by a Replacement fee charged when asking them to stop the card. i refuse to pay a replacement card for a credit card i no longer want to use and will keep the other one, what ever happened to keeping the client happy. i mean you cant want to make me owe you guys even if Ive settled and still owe you on the other card... you will still have me paying you!
Not pleased at all and will humiliate Standard Bank going forward and advise friends and family of how horrific it is banking with you.
