My car has been financed by ABSA for the last 28 months. Last week on my monthly debit order I noticed an additional R750 deduction. When I inquired about it I was told ABSA thought well of it to provide me with additional car insurance without my consent. My car has been comprehensively insured since I've had it.
I phone ABSA, they gave me an email address to provide proof of insurance. I sent the proof through last week and received a mail from ABSA acknowledging receipt. When I inquired about the matter today ABSA told me that I have to wait till Friday 9 working days and they have had my money since the 1st without a phone call or a letter. I sent a mail a week ago to the AIP Complaints department and guess what no response. The bank is happy to keep charging me interest on my loan every month and taking R750 extra out of my account but they are unwilling to answer my email complaint therefore you can try and answer this Hello Peter one as well. Do you think you will pay me on the interest that I have lost on the money you have taken out of my account unwillingly that is!!! Stephen Howarth
