I left Standard Bank because of bad service 7 months ago. Now when I am trying to make that leap in your life to buy my first property, Standard Bank has blacklisted me.
Apparently I owe R200 rand on my Mastercard account, which was closed in February 2013, and acknowledged closed by their Team Leader Ronaldie Pretorius which I have the proof for.
No phone calls, mail, any notification that it is owed. I found this out when I applied for a home loan and was rejected. I have never missed a payment on anything in my life and now Standard Bank has ruined my credit score.
I have already logged a dispute through transunion but now my life has taken a step back.
Thank you Standard Bank, you have made an ex customers life very hard because of your mistakes.
