In 2012 I was in arrears on my RCS account. I was approached by their collection agents. I agreed to a debit order of R 300.00 per month on a /- R 1300.00 outstanding account. After 5 amounts being deducted from my account the debit order stopped. As it was now R 1, 500.00 paid I assumed that the amount paid would have covered the balance with collection and interest. I forgot about it following this... Only to be surprised by an sms sent to me in September this year, over a year later, claiming I owed the amount as originally requested in 2012. We are held hostage as I admit that the original default was my own fault, but I am now attempting to resolve these issues. To find out 12 months later that they still claim I owe them over a R 1, 000.00 is beyond rediculous.
