Nashua Mobile
Uncertainty over account

I have a 24-month contract with Nashua Mobile which commenced in April 2012. Every month the instalment is debited from my bank account without any problem, as I get paid on the 25th of the month and I requested the debit orders go off on the 28th of each month.

For the end of November 2012 my debit order from Nashua did not go through before the beginning of December 2012, by which time my account was nearly empty and the debit order did not go through. I was paid on the 14th of December (as is policy in our company at the end of the year) and paid the amount of R860 immediately via EFT. When my account arrived via e-mail at the end of December, the amount I had paid had not been deducted.

On January 24th as my salary was paid into my account, Nashua deducted an amount of approx. R1400. But the next day I received an sms to tell me my account is overdue by almost R1900.

I went to my local Nashua branch, where I was given a name of the person to contact at Nashua. No e-mail address or telephone number, just a name.

On Monday 28 January I e-mailed my proof of payment (s) to the e-mail address provided in the sms I received from Nashua. I have had no response from Nashua.
