On 22/08/13 I did a purchase online on 23/08/13 I gave an instruction to Capitec to hold the payment irrespective of the merchant or me authorising with my 3 digits at the back of my card. I called in afterwards, gave the reasons why and requested the bank to hold the payment, received confirmation telephonically that it's on hold and still it was put through, so it doesn't matter if the client gives instruction as Capitec just does what it pleases with other people's money and indicates that you save. How do you save? Doesn't my instruction go over and above everything as it is my money afterall and now to receive a refund of R591 X2 of an amount of R4864 ludacris. I don't give a of who thinks what! I want my money and I don't care what they need to do but I am your client not the Merchant, Capitec needs to look out for my best interest but no they go and do whatever the with other people's money. Any other bank would have rejected the entry as insufficient funds and no money would have gone through. I'm the one now with a minus balance.
