I have been a customer of Virgin Money Insurance since 2010 and during these 3 years, they have been the best insurance company I have ever dealt with. Even now, I believe this is an aberration, but it is such that it is really concerning. Two weeks ago I had a rain related accident which left my car unable to start. The car was eventually towed to SMG BMW and the insurance company was informed. Last Monday, they authorised a rental and promised to investigate what to do. I received a call from the loss adjustor last Friday and then a call from Bradley saying he expected his boss to approve by Saturday. Monday to Thursday went, with no call or update until I called, and spoke to another Bradley who informed me that Bradley was off sick. While one expect people will get sick, I would expect organisations to have procedures in place to deal with customer cases. I have no idea what is happening with my car, the claim or even whether my rental will be extended. Insurance as it should be is suddenly different now that I am in Cape Town
