Incorrect arrear amount advised

Called African Bank last week thursday to find out how much is in arrears on my loan account because i wanted to make a payment, i was advised its R122, i asked the lady 3 times if she is sure its that the only amount, she said yes and send me a statement that reflected that amount, she advised me to pay before the 1st to avoid interest charges, i went and paid it . i called them on monday to find out if the payment is reflecting and the status of my account, spoke to Natasha she told me i was in arrears with R1680, i asked her how so becasue i was only told its R122, she said she doesnt know how incompetent. i sent the team leader Sthembiso an email no feedback till i called back on thursday. He was rude, told me i must pay that amount and couldnt explain how his agent got to that R122 she advised me with. I told him im reporting this matter, he said i must go ahead.
