In October 2011 I went to Bramley branch to apply for a loan, unfortunately the amount I wanted was not available, I was then advised by the agent that I can take a credit card for R4000. I asked how different this was from a normal loan and was advised it works the same just with a card. I use the cash in the card pay for 12months and im done.

October 2012 comes and I receive my first credit card statement stating that I still owe well over R3000, I was then advised that a credit card has a reoccurring amount which I was not told about initially.

When raising the matter several times with different agents, everyone passes the buck. I called their consumer line a couple of times and you leave a voicemail and someone supposedly calls you back. I wasn't called back not even once, no one gave me a ref number, case number or incident number. I lost all my supporting emails sent because I changed jobs.

Yesterday I called the credit card department yet again and Spoke to Nhlanhla Zikhali who advised there is no consumer protection officer and he will escalate this via email. I asked him to "cc" me on the email. Clearly he did not send it as I received no email of
