First, I have always received first class service from Outsurance with which company my car has been insured for about ten years. However, this year I discovered that my annual payment date had been moved from 1 to 14 September. I only discovered this when I noticed an unknown debit on my bank statement. Upon enquiring at my bank I was advised that it was an amount for Outsurance. Upon calling Outsurance I was advised that the amount was for the first thirteen days of September, in other words for the "extended" period of my previous year's premium. I requested that my annual payment day revert to 1 September which has been complied with. As always, I immediately received from Outsurance documentation confirming that my annual payment date remains 1 September.
