Absolute frustration with FNB Hermanus

I lost my FNB credit card and attempted to collect a replacement at FNB Hermanus today. I was asked to bring a recent utility account. The only utility account I have in my name and residential address is my Telkom account. It is addressed to me, states my street number and street and the Estate I live in in Hermanus and then states the suburb and the postal code. It was pointed out that I could not have my credit card as the address leaves out the word "Hermanus". I have used this account over and over for FICA purposes without a problem. No advice was offered as to how I could remedy this situation. I asked to see the branch manager, and a lady appeared from the back who I am pretty sure is not the branch manager. She backed Brenda up. I said I would therefore have to close the account and was informed that I must go and wait in another queue to see a consultant to do so. I had stood in Brenda's queue for a very long time and could not now join a new queue because of time constraints. I have had this account for 25 years and have conducted it well. A total attitude of disinterest exists at this branch. As I can't get the card I must close my account after 25 years.
