Poor service and incompetence

In April I went to the bank to print a statement as Nedbank does not send out monthly statements to me. I noticed that there were numerous debit orders going off. I asked the bank and was told that I should report it to the police station and wait for the bank to investigate. I placed stop payments on those debit orders the following month when it occurred again. Last month I visited a dr only to find out that I do not have any medical aid cover. It appears that the incompetent staff at Nedbank stopped my medical aid debit order which lapsed as I did not get statements to check. My son had to beg the medical aid to reinstate me so that I am covered- considering that I could have required hospitalisation due to very high blood pressure. My son placed a complaint on hello Peter and immediately received a call from a Nedbank employee from Durban who just made big promises but there was no action. Shamima the bank manager also called him two days after and said she will investigate - still waiting for her to call him again. She even admitted that I should have never went to the police. Apparently no other bank does this - especially to pensioners. Hope this gets attention
