FNB SAY NO JOB- NO ACCOUNT, TO MY WIFE

My wife was out of a job for 4 months and FNB closed down her account because it was inactive. She tries to re-open account so I can deposit an allowance for her every month. The account was owing because of banking fees... we are willing to pay the debt and re-open the account. But she was chased away from the FNB bank by some senior staff, telling her she cannot open an account unless she is employed and MUST provide proof of employment (TOTALLY UNHEARD-OFF).
SO BOTTOM-LINE YOU CANNOT OPEN A BANK ACCOUNT WITH FNB IF YOU ARE UNEMPLOYED.
THIS IS CRUEL PREJUDICE, SINCE SOUTH AFRICA HAS SUCH A HIGH UNEMPLOYMENT RATE.TO BE HONEST THIS IS A FIRST... THAT I'VE HEARD THIS..."NO JOB -NO BANK ACCOUNT"...
What an irony from a bank the has a slogan..."HOW CAN WE HELP YOU"
